Ben Barnicoat will take on his biggest challenge yet in his role of McLaren Factory Driver as he is confirmed to take on the 2021 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS with British sportscar team JOTA.
Ben Barnicoat will return to a full season of endurance racing in Europe for the 2020 season as he is confirmed in a Pro line-up with Australian team 59Racing for the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup powered by AWS.
Ben Barnicoat endured a disappointing debut as part of the McLaren GT Driver Academy following a crash in the opening qualifying session of the Bathurst 12 Hour, which led to the withdrawl of one of Tekno Autosport’s two McLaren 650S GT3 machines.
Racing Steps Foundation backed Ben Barnicoat claimed the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC Championship in his first year of single seater racing
